Have you met us before?

Was it when you were an elementary school pupil, a high school student, or in college? Did we serve in your parish, visiting the sick, conducting Bible study groups, leading a day of recollection?

Perhaps a Sister of Mercy has made a difference in your life.

It could be that we have never met, but you have been looking for someone with whom to share your passion for prayer, community, and service.

Perhaps you are interested in education, or in direct service to persons who are poor and/or suffering. Perhaps you are concerned about ecology or racism, or have a desire to work as an advocate for justice for the marginalized of society, especially women and children.

If so, you may want to consider serving as a Sister of Mercy, becoming a Mercy Associate, or joining the Mercy Volunteer Corps. Perhaps you prefer to help us continue our prayer apostolate, our mission and our advocacy by offering your prayers and financial support.

Our Sisters are committed to resolving conflict through nonviolence. Earlier this year, we began an intensive training program called CARE, Conversational Approach to Relational Effectiveness. CARE is the result of the five core values that we try to live in community each day. We invite you to consider embracing the core values of Mercy as your own as you think about ways to touch life with love and respect.
