MISSION OF MERCY IN ARKANSAS


Sister Elizabeth O’Hara of the New Jersey Regional Community visited the Diocese of Little Rock recently to conduct training sessions for assistance to the evacuees of Hurricane Katrina.  There were 50,000 evacuees in Arkansas in need of long-term assistance.  Sister Elizabeth worked in disaster relief for Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Metuchen in New Jersey prior to her new position as archivist for the New Jersey Regional Community.
